Mission Pointe Golf Course , previously named Centerview Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Adrian, Michigan.
The course first opened for play in 1970.
The course has large greens and wide fairways. There are a number of pine and mature oak trees that can alter your shots. This facility has a chipping range and a practice putting green.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,668 yards
White tees: par-71, 6,335 yards
Red tees: par-72, 5,226 yards
The course closed in 2013.
The course’s name changed in March of 2012 after ProMedica acquired the property.
The Toledo-based health system that owns Bixby and Herrick hospitals in Adrian and Tecumseh said it has no immediate plans to build on the property.
“By proactively securing this 130-acre property, ProMedica will be in excellent position to meet the future health needs of our communities in southeast Michigan,” Tim Jakacki, president of Bixby and Herrick, said in a news release.
Mission Pointe Golf Course, formerly known as Centerview Golf Course, ceased operations on Jan. 1, 2013. According to hospital leadership, the decision to close the golf course was made to re-align operational priorities.
